Westminster Abbey service celebrates 200 Years of Church Schools (Oct 2011)

Archbishop Rowan Williams preached at Westminster Abbey in a Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate the bicentenary of the National Society, which was founded in 1811 to offer education in every parish.

The Archbishop spoke of the importance of church schools in providing an environment for children to become good citizens.
