Archbishop's visit to the Holy Land

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, will embark on a four day visit to Jordan, Israel and Palestine from 19th to 23rd February 2010.The Archbishop will meet with Christians in the Holy Land, including Anglicans in the Diocese of Jerusalem, and will be accompanied throughout by Rt Rev Suheil Dawani, Bishop in Jerusalem. The Archbishop will also meet with local Heads of State and Government and lead the Anglican delegation in the fourth round of discussions with the Chief Rabbinate of Israel.
The Archbishop will be accompanied for the duration of the visit by Rt Rev Bishop Michael Jackson, the Anglican chair to the Anglican Jewish Commission.
