Archbishop on the 'precious gift of Martyrs' - BBC Radio 4

In BBC Radio 4's 'Something Understood - The Martyrs of Charterhouse Square', the Archbishop of Canterbury speaks about his belief that the Martyrs offer a precious gift to the Church.

In this edition of 'Something Understood', Mark Tully tells the remarkable story of the first Martyrs of the English Reformation. He visits the centuries-old Priory near London's Smithfield meat market and, in the company of the current Master of Charterhouse, uncovers a hidden history with a contemporary relevance.
