As part of a BBC Radio 3 series, the Archbishop spoke of his passion for the works of Tolstoy and the Russia he evokes.This edition of "The Essay" considers the life and work of one of the giants of Russian literature - Leo Tolstoy. Famous for works like the novels War and Peace and Anna Karenina and novellas such as Hadji Murad and The Death of Ivan Ilyich, Tolstoy continues to fascinate modern audiences.
