Holy Land Pilgrimage Consultation at Lambeth Palace

The Archbishop of Canterbury will welcome participants to a Holy Land Pilgrimage Consultation at Lambeth Palace.

The day will include workshops and training sessions designed to provide potential pilgrims with the resources to navigate the Holy Land and the pilgrimage industry ethically.

The Archbishop of Canterbury will deliver the Theos Annual Lecture, speaking on 'The person and the individual: human dignity, human relationships and human limits'.

Launch of the translation of the Archbishop's addresses to Islamic audiences

The Network for Inter Faith Concerns of the Anglican Communion will host a reception to launch the translation of the Archbishop of Canterbury's addresses to Islamic audiences into Urdu and Bangla.

Visit to the Vatican

The Archbishop will visit the Vatican to address the thirteenth Ordinary Session of the Vatican Synod of Bishops - 'on the New Evangelization' - and share in celebrations marking the fiftieth anniversary of the opening session of the Second Vatican Council.

Lambeth Degree Ceremony

The Archbishop of Canterbury will present Lambeth Degrees to recipients in a special service to be held in the Lambeth Palace Chapel.

Anglo Saxon Portraits, BBC Radio 3 - 10.45pm

The Archbishop will contribute to a BBC Radio 3 series called Anglo Saxon Portraits, which will feature a fifteen minute portrait of Augustine - the challenges, role and legacy of the very first Archbishop of Canterbury.

Visit to Papua New Guinea

Archbishop Rowan will make a provincial visit to the Anglican Church of Papua New Guinea. The Archbishop of Canterbury will be hosted by the Archbishop of Papua New Guinea, the Most Revd Joseph Kopapa.
